◎道教法师设坛建醮时，为求遣神召灵而礼拜星斗的步态和动作。因步行转折，系按斗宿魁罡之象或九宫八卦之图而步踏之，故称为“步罡踏斗”。简称为“步罡”。又相传为禹所创，故也称为“禹步”。也作“步斗踏罡”。
