My dream is a small but powerful one: I want to build a community library in my old neighborhood. It started from a simple memory. When I was a kid, our neighborhood was lively but had no quiet place to read or study. The nearest public library was a forty-minute bus ride away, which felt like a journey to another world for a child. I remember saving my pocket money for weeks to buy a single storybook, carefully reading every page until it was nearly worn out. I often thought, what if every kid here could have shelves of stories within walking distance?

This dream isn't about a grand, silent building with towering shelves. I picture a bright, welcoming room filled with sunlight. The walls would be painted in warm colors, with low bookshelves for children and comfortable bean bags scattered on a colorful rug. One corner would have a few computers for students to do research, and another would have a small wooden stage for weekly story-telling sessions. I imagine the smell of paper and the soft sound of pages turning. Most importantly, the library would be free and open to everyone, a safe space for curious minds.

To make this real, I know I need to start with myself. My current plan is to study hard, focusing on community development and project management in university. I've already begun volunteering at the city library on weekends, learning how they operate and connect with people. I am also saving a small part of my allowance each month – my first "brick" for the future library. I plan to use my skills to write project proposals and seek support from local businesses and organizations when the time is right. The path is long, but every step I take now is a step closer to that sunny reading room.

I believe this library would be more than just books. It would be a bridge. A bridge between the children in my old neighborhood and the vast worlds waiting in stories. A bridge between generations, where elders might come to share tales or help with homework. It would be a place for dreams to begin, for someone else to discover their own "what if." That is the heart of my dream: to create a key that unlocks doors for others, just as a book once unlocked the universe for me.
