Activity Name: "Coffee Chat & Cultural Exchange" English Corner

Purpose: To provide a relaxed, real-world environment for participants to practice conversational English, share cultural perspectives, and build confidence in speaking.

Target Participants: University students and community members with intermediate English proficiency.

Time: Every Friday, 7:00 PM

    Activity Content:

    1. Warm-up (7:00-7:20 PM): Free mingling over provided coffee and tea. Icebreaker bingo cards with prompts like "Find someone who has visited two countries" or "Knows three words in Mandarin.

    2. Theme Introduction (7:20-7:30 PM): Weekly host introduces a casual topic (e.g., "Hometown Foods," "A Movie That Moved You," "Travel Blunders," "Life Hacks").

    3. Rotating Small Groups (7:30-8:30 PM): Participants discuss the theme in small groups of 4-5, changing members every 20 minutes. A "Conversation Starter Card" with sub-questions is provided for each group.

    4. Open Mic / Game Time (8:30-8:50 PM): Optional participation. Volunteers can tell a short story/joke, or groups play a quick word-association game like "Password.

    5. Wrap-up & Networking (8:50-9:00 PM): Host announces next week's theme. Participants exchange contacts if they wish.
