Today was one of those gloomy, quiet rainy afternoons. I sat by the window, watching raindrops race down the glass. The sound of the rain was like a gentle, constant whisper, making the whole world feel slow and peaceful. I spent most of the afternoon reading an old book I found on the shelf. It’s funny how rain can change the mood completely—no desire to go out, just content with being still. Later, I made myself a cup of hot tea and listened to some soft music. Sometimes, the simplest moments are the most beautiful. I feel calm and a little thoughtful tonight. Maybe rain isn't so bad after all.
